Dawit L. Petros and Delio Jasse Included in Major Walther Collection Gift to The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Tiwani Contemporary is thrilled to announce and congratulate our artists, Dawit L Petros and Délio Jasse, on the inclusion of their artworks in the landmark promised gift from Artur Walther and the Walther Family Foundation to The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

 

This transformative contribution of approximately 6,500 photographs, albums, and works of time-based media, announced by The Met on May 14, 2025, features modern and contemporary art from Africa, among other regions. We celebrate this significant milestone for both artists and The Walther Collection, underscoring the Foundation’s dedication to fostering collaboration within the art world.
