We are proud to announce that Miranda Forrester has recently completed a beautiful project with Hospital Rooms for Sandwell CAMHS. Her new mural titled ‘Rooted’ now adorns the ground floor corridor of the unit and helps guide service users and families along the corridor with its evolving colours. Warm terracotta and earthy tones slowly transform into vibrant and fresh greens, creating a welcoming atmosphere for young people walking to or from their appointments.
The various greenery depicted, is inspired by the beauty of houseplants and the plants found in the iconic green houses of Kew Gardens. Forrester states “the larger-than-life painted leaves are designed to make you feel connected with nature as you pass through, bringing a sense of peace and harmony with yourself and the world.”
It has been a privilege for Miranda to contribute to the incredible work that Hospital Rooms does in transforming mental health spaces into environments of hope, dignity, and recovery.
