UH: Melodies For The Journey What I find that I meditate on quite a lot is the elements, and Melodies For The Journey is in the air element. So, you might say, for instance, that in A Call Answered, there's the presence of a body of water that needs to be crossed. Melodies For The Journey, is more about the element of air. The fact that every time that I've read about rituals, and I've been present in ceremonies and rituals, like my dad's funeral, there's the presence of music. How do we perceive music? How is music transported to the air? These specific instruments confirm to me when I hear them, and they're beautifully played, like they just kind of instigate something more ancient. And it just takes me to a place where I know that there is a presence other than this physical realm.
