Abode fruitful is from my series exploring home and domestic environments.Using negative space gives the appearance of the Yukka plant floating, and the use of image transfer in the figurative shapes pays homage to queer and black artists that have been trailblazers in terms of representation, such as Zanele Muholi, Mickalene Thomas nad Tee Corinne. The title Fruitful speaks to an abundance of warmth, calm and quietude associated with ‘Home’
