The work explores the question of what it might mean to live a life of wholeness.
The pilgrim plays a musical instrument, a twin iron gong called the Ogene.
In playing this musical instrument (which is a symbol of life in the Igbo cosmos), she comes into rhythmic accord with her inner guide, her soul, her chi (personified as Ebezina who stands behind her with a hand on the pilgrim’s heart).
The pilgrim proclaims acceptance of her role as ally and collaborator in the quest in actualising wholeness.
