The Ikebana flower arrangement is a practice which stems from ancient Buddhist principles and Shinto customs and is known to be a spiritual expression of a journey with nature. Thus, the arrangement serves as extending the way in which the heroine’s journey is expressed. Essentially the journey charters a developmental relationship with ego and one's instinctual nature.
